Well, that is the "official" thread for this topic, after all. I don't think we need one of these after every loss.

With no offensive system and showing no indication to have a team run some decent plays, I wouldn't him if they fired him on the spot.

Don't we have a lot of these threads already? I've been a Clutch Fans member since 2011 but I've been lurking since 2007. I know that isn't long but I have never seen this many repeated threads and/or terrible threads since 2007. Come on guys, step up your game.

I'm just trying to help. Try elaborating on why McHale is a terrible coach. Maybe use some examples of what frustrates you about him.

The same goes for every other thread. Don't make threads that just say "Lin needs the ball more. McHale needs to play him more SMFH OMFG like oh my god, yah like totally" This will help ClutchFans a lot because it will make posts more tolerable and actually give insight and give credibility to your posts.

Most importantly, we won't have to sift through a bunch of crappy threads that have no substance. Not saying I haven't made a few mistakes in my posts, everyone does, but let's try and make ClutchFans the knowledgable board it once was. :)

To make it fair, perhaps we should have a "Give McHale a 4 year extension" thread after every win

    add me to this clan

He stayed around waaaay longer than he was supposed in minn and it looks like he has that same knack here in houston.. I dont understand it, why does he get so much leeway with little to no success?

I know hes a likeable person and charismatic but that hasnt/doesnt equate to wins, its baffling

at least have a competent tank/lame duck coach

    Likely.

When you can't fire the whole team of players, you fire the coach.

Honestly if Lakers get Pringles that would suck. I felt he would be a perfect coach for this team as constructed. We have plenty of young legs that can run, swing, and play unselfish ball. Lin would actually play instead of dump the ball to our best player and become Shane Battier running to the corner. We also have a very unselfish Harden who isn't like Kobe or Melo at all. It can work.

Also the potential problem I see in LA if they hire Pringles: He would certainly run the offense through Nash and Kobe will not like it just like how Melo didn't and outted D'A.

McHale is not the main reason of failure, Morey is.

I miss Rudy. A real players coach who tested every player on the roster in Regular Season games not just in Summer League or Preseason games

Here is the question if everything on our roster was perfect could McHale lead us to a ring?

Agreed. Always knew McHale would be awful.. I mean c'mon... look how much the T-Wolves have improved since he left their organization!

Not sure about whom to hire, but definitely get that guy out of here!
