You can add another NBA big who has trained with Dream but in Faried case he explains he asked about playing better D. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2012/11/08/dream-work-all-about-d-for-faried/?ls=iref:nbahpts Wonder when Les gets wise and hires dream to train the Rocket's Bigs.
Had two shots at him...meh. Not sure who Karl has been talking to... And this is getting ridiculous. Les needs to step up and foot the bill if necessary, but Dream has to give the team a discount.
Dream can work with whoever wants to pay him. He owes NOTHING to the Rockets. The Rockets owe more to him at this point.
one of my favorite Dream moments was when he spanked Ewing in the Finals and blocked John Starks. Screw the Knicks fans for thinking they could handle Clutch City. Now Dream is teaching the league how to play basketball again, spreading Clutch City all over the planet.
It's not about owing the team. It's about helping out the city. The city never did anything to him, but worship him.
When Houston gets a great young post player then he'll help. He helped Yao didn't he? He sells his service so it's up to Pat, D-Mo or whomever to go out and buy it.
My understanding is that Dream used to keep his services relegated to friends of friends and people within the organization. And then if you wanted to thank him by donating to the charity of his choice, go for it. Is that accurate? But now it turns out that a gazillion people all want to learn from a living legend, the back of the line is 10 blocks from here, so Hakeem has to be more selective these days about how to donate his time, and he has to charge these people as well.
Too bad Les crapped all over Hakeem, he could be working with our players right now and helping our team out. Instead, he's been helping just about every other team get better except for us.
