These articles are so hilarious. The drone is halfway across the earth and just outside Iranian waters. Still, somehow Iran is supposed to be cool and magically know that the drone is unarmed.

It's like if a burglar was standing near my house, and I threw something at him.

"Mathloom throws potentially harmful object at father of two."

Of course, Fox News is in the business of injecting fear into their viewers' minds, because fear makes the brain malleable.

DAMN straight!!!!!! Screw those Iranian bastards. I bet they had something t do with 9-11! I bet they have WMD's!

Really. Listening to Hannity and Michelle Malkin (what a catchers mitt) talk about cover ups with their disgusted faces was absolutely hilarious. You know the fox fools in the control room had to be rolling their eyes.

If Iran had military planes 16 miles off the coast of N.Y. you think we wouldnt of done something?

I believe this. It was warning shots. They could have shot it down if they wanted to.

To be fair it's not just the US - Iran's in violation of multiple UN security council resolutions with respect to their nuclear program - of course they're gonna have drones off their coast.

If the world demands that Iran dismantle its nuclear program, then all nations should be required of the same. Iran has plenty of neighbors that already have nuclear capabilities.

Hypothetically, even if Iran acquired nuclear bomb capabilities, there's no way Iran (or any nation) could detonate a bomb without incurring the wrath of the the world. They'd literally be bombed off the planet.

Then they shouldn't have signed the NPT - they did, case closed.

It doesn't work like that. Iran isn't going to make a nuclear bomb, write 'made by Iran on it', then fire it at us (or more likely, Israel). They would give it to one of their sponsored terrorist groups and let them do it. You wouldn't know it was Iran who did it, especially if they develop that type of weapon without anyone knowing.

NPT allows for development of civilian nuclear energy programs from its signatories.

Same goes for any nation. Any entity is always able to hire a proxy to do their dirty work. It's not like we haven't done it in the past either.
