I know I should hate the Colts being a Texan fan, but I really don't. The organization as a whole is well-run, and they have a classy fan base (unlike the ass hat titan fans). Our window to win the division looks like it might only be a few years

Absolutely not. The Titan game last year had playoff implications and the Texans did what they wanted.

The only possible variable - and it's tiny: the game might be flexed to NBC. But other than that, there's the no way, if there's nothing at stake, that the Texans are going to put their players on the same field as a team playing all-out to win.

    i'm thinking next year, honestly

But I'm not terribly worried about them taking the division this year. Without them having a running game, we'll be ok in the Indy games. And I wanna see them stop Schaub

We have a little dynasty brewing here too. I think they should be scared to face our defense for the forceable future. Luck ain't no manning.

He will be. I heard during a game that he already wants to run the no huddle but the coach is holding him back cause he says other players on the team is not ready for it. Once he gets to use it, watch out.

The only thing stopping Luck is the injury bug... I'm hoping for an infestation of the entire Colts organization.

even if we lose against the bears, the division isn't in jeopardy. the Colts will finish 9-7. they'll win tonight but lose at least the next two out of 3. i'm looking forward to the Texans putting him on his ass all game long.

Colt's aren't ****. The Texans will take it to them on that week 15 match up. No Texans fan should be worried about the Colts.

I dont know, he could be like cam newton next year, that everyone has his tape, and could get better at defense.

they lost against the jags in the first game.
they lost by 26 against the jets

this game MJD is not playing, and last game MJD run for 177 yards on them.

they only have 3 wins against teams with a winning record.

people was saying the texans record was misleading after the packers game? why they dont say the same about the colts record?

and for me, its ok if they get a good record, that means a low draft pick.

The Colts really haven't played any good teams yet, except for Green Bay who they caught off guard.

I also like how the NFL made sure to schedule our games with them at the end of the season, when Luck has more time to learn the game and become familiar with his teammates. They didn't want us bashing his brains out in week 2.

Still, I think it's good for us that at least one of our division opponents remain competant because strong divisions help prepare you better for the postseason. Our schedule has been pretty light this year overall, if the Colts can become a divisional contender then I think it will be good for us. Our defense is solid and should continue to get better in the coming seasons.

both the texans and colts making the playoffs is a realistic possibility.. if anything it give some validity to the afc south.. their last 4 games havent exactly been murderers row.. looks like the teams that schaub ran through during his 8-0 stretch.. whole bunch of nobodies..

This is a blessing in disguise for the Texans, I believe with the Colts following their tails, it should motivate the Texans throughout the season. Sure, we may lose another game, or two, but at least we should not repeat what we did after the clinching division (Bengals) game last year. We lost 3 regular season games to finish the season, I remember losing to Titans and Panthers fondly. Defense>Luck, as long as we have our defense, we will prevail more games than not. This season the Colts are riding high on their coach fighting a disease, which I think humbles them and makes football easier for them. Chemistry goes a long way with most of them shaving their head.

High possiblity of Colts vs. Broncos in the playoffs which I think will draw mighty ratings. This is another one that could catapult the Texans. If we get the winner of that game, the winner will be exhausted mentally and physically. We will smash 1 of them.

Exactly...we need to freaking play every game to secure the top seed. Do that and you get a week round off plus home cooking. There should absolutely be no taking a couple games off like we did last year. One game at a time. Game plan and take them all serious!

It's an interesting phenomenon around here, isn't it? The Texans are 7-1 with wins over Baltimore and Denver and they're a fraud. But the Colts are 6-3 with losses to the jags and jets and have yet to win a game by more than 6 points, and we're supposed to worry about them?

Agree with this. I'd love to see that last game of the season actually have meaning for us, especially if we have a 1st round bye. Last thing we need to get ready for the playoffs is 3 meaningless games followed by a bye. Gotta stay sharp or you have the 2011 Green Bay Packers.
