I'm not trying to bash the guy because last year, I really thought he outplayed Budinger for the spot. This year, I sure hope he doesn't feel entitled to that starting 3 spot because he is flat out terrible.

His defense is overrated. He is taking bad shots or forcing the issue too much which leads to a turnover or easy bucket on the other side. Most of all, he looks like he's moving 2mph out there. Seems to have trouble staying in front of his man, and his drives to the basket are slow and totally predictable. He either gets a charging called, misses a layup or gets blocked. Parsons took 9 shots tonight and I felt it was too much. He shouldn't be chucking up any 3's at a crucial time during late in the game especially for how he's been playing.

I honestly think Morris is more deserving of that starting 3 at this point. He seems hungrier, has more upside and is making a bigger impact than Parsons. Morris skills on offense is much superior than Parsons and I'm not sure if Parsons defense (not to say that it's been great) would offset that.

If Parsons keeps on stinking it up and Morris keeps on gaining confidence in his game, I could see Chandler losing his spot.

Parsons is having some sophomore slumps right now. But he's also getting adjusted to playing with new players, keep in mind that this is entirely new team he's playing with. Him and Patterson are the only remaining players from last years squad.

Remember that without Parsons clutch three in Atlanta we could have lost that game. I wish he would finish at the rim better because he certainly has ability to get there, but he has improved his FT shooting and I think his shot will get better as the season progresses. One of his strengths is passing the ball but when you have new teammates its hard for that to shine because you're still getting adjusted to how guys play.

Next year, they should replace Parsons with Ginobili, that'll solve every problem. Parsons aint' that great. He's not much a threat attacking the basket...hell i think Terrence Jones is a better attacker. Again, f McFail for not playing him!

Talking about Morris and Parsons, Chandler threw two very bad passes to him tonight, but it also makes me wonder if Morris has bad hands because maybe both were catchable... sometimes I can't help imagining a T-Rex head over his body, it's discomforting.

Obi-Wan-Ginobili is like 80 years old bro. He will finish out his career in a Spurs uni or retire.

Yeah, there were just too many mistakes all around. It almost seemed like the Rockets were the ones coming off a back to back.

marcus morris had a article in the houston chronicle this past summer talking about how he was working hard all summer trying to prove the haters wrong, and competing extra hard for playing time. Article was largly ignored by most clutchfan users. clutchfans be giving all of it's better players the jonny flynn treatment. flynn sucks, but i would rather have him over tony douglas. flynn showed in his last few games in portland that he can play at an NBA level even though his defense is terrible.

If Leonard was picked by Houston, he would not reach half the level he is at now under McHale.

I don't watch the games because they are during the night, but every day after the game I go to box score and expect to see even few minutes of either D.Mo, Jones or White playing. Four games into the season, 0 minutes combined between those three.

If the pattern with Morris will continue next season, McHale will give big minutes to either D.Mo, Jones or White who will be as inexperienced as they are now. Why??

watching that old rookie press conference interview with mchale, d-mo, morris, and parsons is hilarious to me now, because they were talking all that **** about how talented, and potentially great players they were, yet lost to a struggling Denver team that lost to the freaking detriot pistons, then lost the game before that, meanwhile d-mo can't even sniff playing time.

Yeah not so much. Johnny Flynn can't play in the NBA.

Put this into perspective: The Lakers are sucking with four superstars. Calm down. Give it 40 games.

They're sucking because they haven't started trying yet. Once they get motivated they'll likely blow any team off the court other than Miami.

The media is enjoying it, but we all know the Lakers and Heat will make the finals, Joey Crawford will make sure of it.

I'll go grey by then, and I'm not talking about the fifty shades variety.

I think he is finally on the gameplan of other teams.

thinking the same thing. things take time obviously, let's see what happens over time first and then we'll know what move to do next.

it's still just a too small a sample size to be conclusive of anything yet plus things are still going to change over time

Lakers have a track record of success as well as a guy named Kobe Bryant.

Put this into perspective: The Bobcats and Pistons suck too...Do you think they are going to get on track all of a sudden?

We are closer to the Bobcats and Pistons than we are to the Lakers.
