Morey said ESPN released some of the the rockets secrets yesterday (half joking). Any clue what he is talking about?
I'm curious about this myself, unless he's talking about the story that broke down Harden's numbers against starters when he was the number one option on the floor
I would add the word "soon". I like Jones. I've liked what I've seen from Morris a lot. Having good players is not a bad thing unless your name is White. A lot has to change for him to get on the court. I think he is the 7th option for PF minutes right now.
Morey is a great Rockets ambassador. He was probably the face of the franchise for the past few years which is both amazing and sad.
That was really good. Shame that nobody brought up Omer though. Don't think you can talk about Harden & Lin without bringing up Omer.
Given 3rd options generally sit on the bench the whole season (except garbage time minutes), being the 7th option doesnt bode well for White does it?
Morey said he likes multiple "attack guards" who goes to the basket as oppose to the traditional, stay-in-your-lane, play-it-safe PG. So, I guess he won't be trading for Jose Calderon any time soon.
For PT with Rockets this season, no it does not bode well. He is a very unique player. I expect he'll destroy the D League after starting slow. He will get to work a lot with the Rockets future backup PG. White's time for Rockets probably begins next season unless he is traded. White is a very high upside player...he just has a long road to prove he is NBA material.
Morey must love Bledsoe, then. One will never know, but maybe the Rockets actually were among the teams interested in McCalebb this summer as well. Too bad for the Jimmer. 3-pointer chuckers aren't considered "attack guards" the last time I checked.
