I wanted to get some feedback on this clothing line a friend of mine started up. Theres more on the site www.hurtpeople.com Good? Bad? Meh?
Not my taste, but looks a bit hipsterish. With that being said, if promoted by the right people, this could be a big hit for a few months and then trickle off to the less popular.
This is what the facebook page says: About .Konichiwa ladies and germs! We welcome you to Hurt People™! No, thats not a free-for-all invitation to cause harm to one another. Hurt People is a brand. Description We are a clothing company that caters to those vibrating at a higher frequency.
the buff jesus looks like a good quality shirt. the graphics of the two you posted comes off a little cheap. and the black/white hurt people in letters looks like a shirt you would see on karma loop.
Here's what I think about when I read this: it's a bit of a conflict. If you're a brand, then you're more than simply a clothing company. Is Red Bull simply an energy drink maker? NO. They're a hip lifestyle -- not merely a hip lifestyle brand, but a lifestyle. (Red Bull is the extreme example being that just about every company wants to do what they've done for the past ~15 years.) You guys must have an idea in mind of who your consumer/target is. What do you want "Hurt People" to be? Clothing is merely a means to expand/advertise/develop your brand, so that's why asking random folks here for feedback on designs is a bit dangerous.
