That mix crowd is what todays America is about not one that looks like it just came from a southern country club banquet hall.
Can someone tell me why do Northern states vote Democrat while Southern states vote Republican? I always thought it was the other way around. I.e. southern states are poor and want to vote for the left wing party democrats and northern states are rich and want to vote for the right wing republicans.
That is ridiculous. I tend to believe the Republican Hispanic lady on CNN that said Hispanics were ripe for the picking this year but the GOP primaries scared them to death (and back into the arms of Obama). With national demographics changing, the national Republican party has got to change on immigration. Otherwise they are doomed to minority status.
Theoretically. I know people that don't have health insurance, are on wellfare + receive disability checks for obesity and at the same time claim that Obama is a socialist gay atheist muslim running this country to the ground. In a lot of these areas, especially in some of the small towns in texas like where I am, republicans are like a cult. Voting republican isn't exactly voting about the issues or being logical, its alligning yourself with a narrowminded ideology.
