Texas Republicans that didn't want American History classes to mention Thomas Jefferson so much when talking about The founding of our nation because his beliefs were too controversial. Other Republicans that claimed Ben Franklin never said or did anything racist. I should point out that it isn't all Republicans that do this, and probably isn't even a majority, but it is a very vocal group of Republicans, and people who hold power in the primaries and electorate for the Republicans.
If these guys had been saying "it looks close but I think Romney wins" I would have no problem. In fact I have been saying Romney could win but it is the sheer shrillness and denial of every thing but their gut and talking points thAt got me. Romney could still win The landslide these guys were saying was inevitable ain't gonna happen!
No doubt, I believe Commodore predicted 324 for Romney which looked ridiculous to me then and even more so now of course.
