Dude, he rolled an ankle. We can do better than the RealGM board, cynically armchair diagnosing every high ankle sprain as some career-ending injury or something. Good god.
Raptors fans are crushed http://www.raptorsforum.com/f/f5/ga...tors-okc-thunder-8pm-nov-6-tsn2-23980-15.html
Nuggets will undoubtedly raise their game tomorrow but on this viewing they really don't look all that impressive...YET
Ever had a severe ankle injury? Theres a difference between hurting it and it swelling, and screaming on the ground unable to get up.
Years of tanking only got the Raptors this? Damn someone please tell them they are fielding a team with more high lottery picks than the Thunder! How could they be this bad?!
I have. It felt like my foot was being sawed off at the ankle. Bone breaks have been less painful. It hurt so, so much. But is it permanent and structural? Of course not. You get a little scar tissue in the ankle as a going away present, and then you're fine again. All basketball players roll ankles, all the time. This is the way of things. That said, the recovery time on these can range from days to weeks depending on the severity, but by all means we should approach this as though Kyle Lowry is in fact dead. R.I.P. Kyle Lowry, March 25, 1986 - November 6, 2012. Beloved father, son, and teammate.
