2012 Presidential Election: Romney vs. Obama

Unless the exit polls are also in on the Nate Silver conspiracy, this is over. If Romney is tied in North Carolina - by far the most friendly "battleground" state to him - he has no chance in Ohio or Pennsylvania. Probably not even Florida.

The Obama camp had all but written off NC two weeks ago.

 

Oh boy, here we go again.

 

Romney loses Florida and he's done. D-O-N-E

 

As Major pointed out, a long way to go. I mean right now South Carolina is blue but it won't stay that way.

 

Yep there is no path for Romney to win without Florida. He has to win Florida.

I told a friend who's working for Romney and another Republican candidate to take some pics. He won't lol. Says the mood is getting tense there at his campaign office with people watching screens and texting on their phones rather than talking or smiling. I think Nate Silver mostly got this one right. We shall see.

 

Pretty sure Bill Maher gave 1 million to Obama, but I dont see him on this list.

 

The Obama folks are sweating too. It definitely is looking better for them but no one is relaxing yet.

 

Those are bundled donations directly to the Obama and Romney campaigns. Maher gave to Priorities USA which is a pro-Obama super-pac.

 

Very, very small percentage of Ohio in but Romney leads 61% to 37%

35% reporting in Florida

52% - 48% for Obama. Currently up 130k votes.

 

Those numbers are way behind, for Florida at least.

 

Lots of poll closings coming up.

 

Very, very early but in Ohio Obama is up 54% to 45% (8k vote lead).
