What is considered slow internet?

Depends on what country. For the US anything less than 6 Mbps would be slow.

I have a 50mbps connection with 5mbps upload.

It's sufficient and I get it at an extremely reduced rate so I have no complaints.

Who is your ISP?

Mine is 8 Mbps. I live in the country so my provider feeds off the main city's ISP where they get up to 30 Mbps.

 

Relative. When I lived in Central Asia, 512 kbps was considered very fast.

My speed sucks.

15-20 mb down and 1.5mb up. I live in Nacogdoches (and am stuck with Suddenlink)....so I wouldn't expect too much faster unless I'm on campus.

 

I don't want anybody ever talking about how they have slow internet. Here is my internet right now:

 

It really doesn't matter as long as it fits your needs. I have 6mb down and .75 up. It fits my needs.

A fair speed to base it off of is satellite internet. Nearly everyone can get it. There is a satellite provider that offers 12 down and 3 up, but its limited to how much you can download during the month.

 

I can't remember if I'm paying for 12mb or 15mb.

 

Fast enough to stream Redtube :grin:

 

That's the speed I have and it works for me. I don't do a whole lot though aside from YouTube and browsing forums.
