I am a social scientist, any time you offer an outline survey that has a sample of respondents in the 100,000's even though there is some "repeat" voting it is still very interesting because of the sample size alone. Manipulation of the outcomes is more possible in the "professional" polls which are very sophisticated at skewing their data.
