Razor tight, perhaps? http://www.colbertnation.com/the-co...r-05-2012/-razor-tight--presidential-election
The only thing Obama had to do with that was watching it on the big screen. It was our military who took care of business. U mad Obama didn't handle Benghazi well?
Lots of regurgitated talking points. I guess it's inevitable with so much political bull**** constantly polluting every aspect of the media. Really though, just stating the talking points of your party, and then having someone counter you with their own side's talking points, doesn't really amount to much of anything.
Funny because my GF went to vote this morning and the volunteer kept asking for here voter registration card even when my GF gave her a TDL. The woman insisted she needed a voter registration card until my GF asked other volunteers to correct the situation. They spoke to the woman and then allow my GF to vote. Needless to say we've alerted the Voter hotline and my GF reminded the voters behind her that a Voter card isn't necessary
Not all volunteers are fully aware of what they are doing. I think using your ID is a whole lot easier than using a voter reg card.
That poll worker was probably confused because they've been instructed that they are not allowed to ask for an id if the voter has their voter registration with them. She probably confused that to mean she couldn't accept an id. Sounds like a simple, honest mistake instead of an attempt to limit voter participation, particularly since most people are apparently outraged that they want them to require the ID instead of just using the registration card.
fan of freedom fighter/political/social/activist/artist/voice of the voiceless bobmarley is on fire right now
Agreed. Don't have any problem with and the poll station I voted at had a sign that stated you could use either or.
I actually agree with a thadeus (D&D) post. I've never looked so forward to an election being OVER in all my life. No hyperbole. Pretty much felt this way for the last 6 months. It's to the point now where I don't even give a **** who wins. Just make it stop.

Well, those poll worker volunteers aren't always the sharpest tools in the shed. Thank goodness smarter people were available.
