I ate a Chicken Philly about 3 months ago, the bread and chicken quality was crap... after Papa Genos, I cant eat anywhere else
There were quite a few Clutchfans there. They were still fixing up their TVs but they got it going. It was fun because it felt special to watch the Rockets do so well. The whole place by the end of the game was cheering on the Rockets. One of the managers bought a pint for the whole place for us being patient with them fixing the TVs. I ate a cheesesteak. It was pretty good and the bread was decent. The food came out fast and I appreciated that. It seemed like they had new management and they were trying real hard to do a good job. I appreciated their effort. I met a guy that said he lived near there that had passed this place a million times but said he enjoyed it.
Try our chicken again. Prior to us taking over September 1, the previous owners used frozen chicken. Our chicken is now fresh and we try to keep a fresher quantity of bread and other ingredients. The Management.

Hopefully our new expanded menus and menu board will be completed in the next 7-10 days along with our new catering menu. Full alcohol service and extended hours coming in the next 20-30 days. Yall are killing me! Haven't had a decent cheesesteak in 4 years, Jake's is one of the many places I miss in Houston.

However, to make our beer taste a little better, we changed to a better quality of charge gas and we repaired our cooler and lowered our draft temperatures to 38 degrees. In the old days we used to feel sick in the morning after drinking the "Dome Foam" and now I know why. But you still can't beat a good ole' whiskey and coke or scotch and water or a shot of something. Thank you. Then Management.
Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games Then you'll love this...we had a call from a business in Philadelphia that had us cater 150 large for a golf tournament in Kingwood a few weeks back, plus tins of extra grilled onions, extra grilled bell peppers, and extra grilled spicy mushrooms. The fact that you guys carry Comcast and will be airing the Rockets game is a huge competative advantage. Jakes is one of the few spots in Houston to watch the game and grab a drink and food. I would market the hell out of this: Watch the game at Jake's, where the food is good and beer is cheap!!
