So we're just gonna ignore the monster season Zach Randolph is having....again?!

It is interesting because he has pretty much always been the best player on a bad team.

Always putting up monster stats. He had the monster contract and as a result, would always be criticized (in some ways, blamed for the losing).

Over the past 8 years, he has been a or very close to being a 20/10 guy.

Crazy how Portland, New York and LAC all pretty much gave him away to the next team.

Well I think they gave him away because of his attitude not his talent.

Its great to see him with a new attitude.

    He's baaaaaack!

After fully recovering from last season's knee injury, Zach Randolph is now back to doing what he does best: destroying opposing teams. Instead of flopping, he's already even given Blake Griffin a reason to fall to the ground:

    Z-Bo's stats so far:

    Game 1: 15 pts, 16 rebs
    Game 2: 15 pts, 14 rebs
    Game 3: 16 pts, 18 rebs

He's clearly on pace to make another all-star game appearance. Haters gonna hate, but you better recognize that Z-Bo's back:

(Just for references purposes) I happened to be the last person to mention Zach Randolph in this forum, in an analogy

I think Z-Bo's cred is pretty established now

Its now gonna be Demarcus Cousins, who cuz of da hataz and their bitter jaded sights, he might be the one ignored after a potentially MONSTER season they can't accept

No matter what, Z-Bo is still the people's champ:

    Game 4: 18 pts, 13 rebs
    Game 5: 15 pts, 14 rebs
    Game 6: 18 pts, 12 rebs

All the critics who checked in during the first few pages of this thread never to be heard from again with their weak excuses of Z-Bo being a thug, a malcontent, a cancer, fat, lazy, only playing for a contract, etc... Z-Bo laughs at your hate while leading the league in rebounds on his way to another all-star game appearance:

38 pts on 15-22 shooting, 22 rebs, and 3 blocks as Z-Bo continues to dominate the NBA as he leads his team to the best record in the league. Zach Randolph is well on his way to another all-star 20 ppg 10 rpg season.

For future reference, all love, hate, and other commentary regarding the great and magnificent Zach Randolph should go in this thread.

For someone who cannot jump, he grabs a lot of rebounds. Must be a great box out player who knows how to use his body to shield off defenders or something.

Maybe this was a breakout game for him. If he's gonna average 20/10, he's gonna need to start having more games like this where he scores over 20 points.

Z-Bo is one of the most fundamentally sound players in the NBA, brother LCAhmed. He's also one of the few remaining players that has a traditional back to the basket game, but can also face up and take it to the hole. He's an old school kind of player...a dying breed...there are very few players like Randolph left in the league.

He's averaged 20-10 plenty of times in his career already, but nobody wanted to recognize his greatness until this thread was created as an inconvenient truth.

Zach Randolph joined Dwight Howard as the only players in the last 12 years to get at least 38 pts and 22 rebs in a game. Z-Bo became only the 4th player in NBA history to put up a stat line like that against the Phoenix Suns, joining Wilt, Kareem, and Bob Lanier:

Ummm, I didn't even look, but I am pretty sure that 38 & 22 has been accomplished plenty of times since then. I am sure Kevin Love has done it and many other players.

C'mon man, I even included a link. You should look... and the answer is no, not even in Love's wildest dreams. Only D12 and Z-Bo have done that in the past 12 years.

The stat is somewhat random. Love had a 37/23 game. He's also had several 30 + points 20 + rebound games in his career.

I think that it's not in Love's wildest dreams as you say. It's far more attainable than that.

True, but it used to be pretty empty 20/10. He didn't hustle nearly as much, he used to score off plays instead of getting much of his scoring off offensive boards like he does right now, his defense was nonexistent, he was far more selfish offensively.

He was still a good player, but he was paid basically the same money as prime Amare, Pau, Yao, and his impact just wasn't comparable.

He was always a tough guy, but he was playing soft basketball most of the time, while now he's one of the toughest guys around.
