You're not getting it. They are changing existing law or making new laws to suppress voter turnout. They don't say that. They call them "Voter ID Laws" and the like. But make no mistake, they are there for one reason only. Why do you think FL, OH and PA are all of the sudden in the news?

I can't help you if you refuse to be reasonable. The article was written in March. Do you not see how prescient they were?

Anyway, I'm hopeful Mr Obama's leads will be strong enough throughout all the states tomorrow that none of this will matter.

Did you read the quotes by Republicans? Yes they are doing it to stop Democrats from voting. Not Republicans.

Refuse to be reasonable???? Proving who you are is unreasonable???? Trying to prevent voter fraud is unreasonable???? Please. Unless the laws weren't applies equally, then there is no reason to complain. I understand your feelings will never change but please don't be duped by the Liberal media. I know when to believe FOX or other right wing news sources and when to double check what they are saying. You should try it yourself.

MC you are wasting your time there when most polls oversampled Democrats between 5 to 10%. I am sure you will be all over the liberal media voter suppression crap but I do urge you to stop and really pay attention.

The only thing duping me, are statements by Republicans who admit the purpose of those lines to keep Democrats from voting.

cml there is no such thing as voter fraud. That's just a boogieman made up by republicans.

I am at peace and am hopeful Mr Obama will be re-elected tomorrow. I'm afraid it's going to be others that will be shocked with tomorrow's outcome.

    Good luck and go vote!

Either way the candidate I support isn't going to win tomorrow night, but when Republicans are admitting it, it isn't imaginary.

Please submit examples in the last 20 years of widespread voter fraud. Actually, any cases of voter fraud. It's not currently a problem.

Here's an interesting article about voter fraud:

    http://openchannel.nbcnews.com/_new...o-evidence-that-photo-id-laws-are-needed?lite

In an exhaustive public records search, reporters from the investigative reporting projecdt News21 sent thousands of requests to elections officers in all 50 states, asking for every case of fraudulent activity including registration fraud, absentee ballot fraud, vote buying, false election counts, campaign fraud, casting an ineligible vote, voting twice, voter impersonation fraud and intimidation.

Analysis of the resulting comprehensive News21 election fraud database turned up 10 cases of voter impersonation. With 146 million registered voters in the United States during that time, those 10 cases represent one out of about every 15 million prospective voters.
“Voter fraud at the polls is an insignificant aspect of American elections,” said elections expert David Schultz, professor of public policy at Hamline University School of Business in St. Paul, Minn.

you make fun of "imaginary voter suppression" and yet you also mention protecting us against voter fraud with ID laws. do you really not see how these are related?

in-person voter fraud DOES NOT EXIST. voter ID is a solution to a problem that does not exist. when you have the leader of the House in Pennsylvania saying:

"Voter ID, which is going to allow Gov. Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania: done," Turzai said during a Republican State Committee meeting.

while at the same time Pennsylvania officials admitted that there has been zero fraud in Pennsylvania's elections.

you should not be calling people naive.

Okay, I give up. Voter suppression does exist. I have now found actual proof of it.
