So he wasn't really trying to endorse Romney, this is at an Obama rally, but if you have 99 problems, but Mitt isn't one of them...aren't you essentially saying you have no problem with Mitt Romney?? Maybe I don't understand the song correctly, but he doesn't have a problem with his b!tch, and he doesn't have a problem with Mitt, so he is endorsing him, no?

I mean, he could be attempting to call Mitt a b!tch, but if that's the case, he f'ed up bad.

Are you serious right now? He's saying he didn't get vetted because he doesn't want people claiming "Obama team tells gangster rapper to cuss out Mitt Romney". Of course he's calling Mitt a b!%#@. How did he eff up? Is he going to lose all the republican radio stations that were playing his singles?

Saying he is not a problem and endorsing him are two different things.
He's not saying Mitt is good, he is saying Mitt is not a problem. He is dismissing Mitt.

LOL, could no one seriously tell I was joking?

He said he has 99 problems, but Mitt ain't one. That is saying Mitt isn't the problem. Maybe he meant for it to come off as he isn't even worth calling a problem, but the fact is he said Mitt wasn't a problem. It's a subtle hint that Jay Z is actually voting for Romney.

dude, what are you talking about?! How did you manage to bring Republicans into this? I was joking about how what JayZ technically said was almost like a backdoor endorsement for Romney.

Which flies in the face of all the propaganda Obama and his surrogates have been throwing at the public for the last year...Mitt is evil, Mitt will turn this country to hell, Mitt will kill our seniors, Mitt will take us to another unfunded war!

Wait, wait, no I'm kidding he actually isn't a problem at all.

You were kidding about him endorsing Romney, but now you're saying he's voting for him? Are you still kidding ?

Either way, you're still wrong about what he means to say.

No more rappers at campaign rallies. They're not trying to run the country, you shouldn't be try to be "cool."

He's the most popular artist of all time in the second most popular genre of music, and a founder and active executive in companies that generate at least half a billion in revenues.

He may own less than 1% of the team but I read somewhere that he surprisingly has a lot of pull in the organization.
