Their defense is better than our defense. If they haven't played anyone, how do you know they aren't legit?
The Texans got embarrassed on the last Sunday night game. I do not think they want to let that happen again. Probably going to be our toughest remaining game.
theyre gonna be better prepared for the bears but i have no clue who is gonna win. if we do win, its gonna be low scoring. i think theyre defense is legit.
With even odds, I'd take the Texans this week. I simply don't trust the Bears offense. I mean, the Texans offense is not as high powered as it has been in recent years, but it's still fairly good. But the Bears offense has put up a ton of stinkers, against mediocre defenses no less. The Texans may not score a lot on their defense, but the Bears offense may REALLY look bad. The only offenses I truly worry about under Wade are the high powered passing games. Because QBs like Brees, Rodgers, Brady can pick us apart before the pressure gets them. Cutler and that horrendous line? Not so much. I mainly worry because it's a road game.
How do the Texans go against cold weather? i dont remember games where they played in a cold environment.
It's not going to be that cold. Lows in the 40's...highs in the high 50's that day. That's the forecast as of now.
For all the flack people give the Texans for "not playing anyone" the Bears have only played 2 teams with a winning record. And the one they beat was the Colts with Andrew Luck playing his first ever NFL game. Gonna be a tough game, but wouldn't surprise me if we ran away with it.
i'm more worried about Devin Hester first, then the Defense. i think our defense will harass Cutler too and i expect a "low" scoring game. i think the Bears win 20-17. my first loss prediction for the texans this year.
Carolina should have beaten them at home. CHI had a pick at the end of the half with CAR driving at the CHI 40 and they had a pick six with 6 minutes left in the 4th. It won't be easy (it never is) but if we don't turn the ball over we have a great chance at winning. They really rely on TOs so don't help them and they don't have enough to beat us.
The Texans CAN beat anyone in the league, sure. And while my heart says yes for this game, my head says no. These are two evenly matched teams. Cutler's more prone to mistakes and Schaub has played smart all season. But our offense hasn't exactly played a complete game yet, and our special teams is always a concern. Playing a great defense, a team that is 7-1, on the road. I think the Texans lose a close one, but I hope I'm wrong.
Forte obviously scares me because I think the texans can be susceptible to the run. But I have a feeling Cutler will have one of his classic multi-turnover games since the defense will be in his face all game.
Myth left over from last year. We're currently #2 in the NFL against the run. It's one of our biggest strengths. If I'm "worried" about anything this game, it's pass protection. And kickoff coverage.
Texans will win easily, through the air. Schaub is going to pick the bears apart. While Foster will have a quite 110yd game. 28-16 Houston!
This is an interesting game. 5 things: -A team with an offence that tends to start slow vs a defence that tends to start fast and take opponenets out of games early -An offence that rarely turns the ball over vs a defence that thrives on turnovers -A defence that gives the QB a hard time with hits, pressure, and sacks vs a QB who tends to lose his cool when rattled. -Both teams aren't great at kickoff returns. The only team worse than Chicago are your Houston Texans. -Both teams are in the top 3 in the league in points and top 5 in points allowed
