If Mchale is fired, who should replace him?

Next to the stars rating is a phrase to match the rating of a thread. From good to bad etc. I gave this a 1 star thread and I wish the word next to it was an emphatic Charles Barkley 'turrible'

 

Stan Van Gundy is a fantastic coach. I'd take him (not that I'm particular hoping for McHale to be let go or anything).

And where did you get that impression? From your psychiatric MD or did you just project your own underlying emotions into your interpretation of McHale? Your desire for Larry Brown as a coach underlines your obvious lack of knowledge and understanding.

From what I heard Lowry was pissed because McHale demanded defense and did not have love for Addelman's free flowing offensive structure. Bottom line: Lowrey is gone and McHale is still here.

 

In no way is that true. Larry Brown is a teacher of the game. He's all about practice. He loves to develop young players into great players and great teammates.

 

Until they tune him out a year later. There's a reason Larry Brown is a journeyman coach.

Larry Brown won't come here. He isn't a fan of Lin. Atleast he proclaimed on the radio as such. PJ & his triangle makes no sense for the roster we currently have.

 

Rick Adelman WAS his predecessor. Finch is going to be his successor.

What makes you think McHale will be fired in the near future. Seems like the team is committed to him for the long haul.

yes, 3 games in we definitely should be look for a replacement. I mean its not like we only lost 1 game or anything. Its not like the superstar player didnt go through training camp. Its not like we have completely overhauled the roster so the players are still adjusting.
Yea and how he acted in the press conference is exactly how he acts in practice and during the games. Everyone acts the same everywhere, end of story. Thats why Jeff Van Gundy is a terrible coach, i mean just listen to his commentary on ABC; he is way to much of a jokester; players will not take him seriously.
