Hey y'all... a friend of mine said he heard a rumor that the rockets are looking at new uniforms for next year but that they missed this year's submission deadline. i checked up with a friend of mine that worked for the rockets and he said he heard the same thing. has anyone heard anything about this? i hate our uni's right now...i remember last year we tried doing all black alternates (A la miami) but the league turned it down.
The home jerseys are terrible. This was long overdue. While they're at it, they need to go back to the classic orange ball logo, too. No dumb rocketship for a town that doesn't launch shuttles any longer, no letter R that looks like paint that's smeared. Classic orange ball, baby! :cool
I agree with bringing back the ketchup and mustard jerseys! The black jerseys I saw being sold at the game last night were dope!!! I wouldn't mind those either!
The home jerseys look like blouses, as someone in another thread said. We are one of the youngest teams in the league, and our jerseys should be lively. These ones just suck all the energy out of the teams it seems.
Please no black. It simply wouldn't look good for our team. I think the jerseys are hideous and look like they were size tested on sumo wrestlers, but other than that I like our colors, I like our logo, and I like our home court. Ideally in my opinion, a simple jersey change is all we need, but I really wouldn't mind going the route of Golden State and bringing back our ketchup and mustard colors.

I would imagine it's about time to do this. We have our franchise player and these jerseys have gone out of favor in the city and around the league. I hope they are similar to the ones Commodore posted.

I'm honestly surprised we haven't changed logo/jerseys ever since T-Mac and Yao era ended. Our uniforms look like cheap potato sacks.
