She doesn't like losing but says that we will win the next one. Harden became her favourite player because he wears my number 13 and she loves his footlocker commercial where he rips off his beard.

All in all if we made a few of those open lay ups, the refs didn't swallow their whistles when we drove to the basket and the guys weren't so exhausted we would have won. I'm happy with our performance.

Only criticism is I don't like Patrick Patterson shooting so many 3's.

I feel like McHale should have gave more minutes to some of the bench tonight, two of the most effective player (Asik and Harden) on our team are starting for the first time and he runs them out there for perhaps too long on back to backs.

Given how well Aldridge and Morris played, I was disappointed McHale didn't go back to them, especially in the 3rd where the first team came unglued early.

Coaches would always rather go with the sure thing, rather than depend on newish players. But I hope McHale learns from this -- that Harden isn't SuperMan and gets tired too.

eh? Lillard played 38mins the night before in OKC. And he played 43 tonight.

    He's already better than Lin.

    I want to punch someone!

Game should have been wrapped up after Lin made that 3 point play.
Run the clock, get a good stop or let them score just a 2

    Time out

drive to the basket and try and draw a foul if you can't get a good shot off

And LOL at people thinking HOU can lure Aldridge. He's already said multiple times that he wants to be THE MAN and loves Portland. And from the looks of things, they're building a pretty decent core around him.

Also I felt Lin should have have the ball the last few plays...

    Let Lin run the team!

Agreed. Harden had been tired since last 4 mins @ 2nd Q.

Lin is not tired but Lillard is not better than the 100% Lin. ;)

The kid is averaging 21-9-4 on 47% fg, 38% 3pt, 91% ft through his first three games. Is a healthy Lin really better than that?

McHale needs to be a coach and call a freakin timeout when needed. We honestly probably could have won without losing in OT... I'm just calling it a McFail and calling it a night. Let's hope we go on a 22 game winning streak from Wednesday...

A healthy Lin = Linsanity = Winning & closing out a game.... something that clearly didn't happen tonight!

    Sigh.

Harden could and should have closed it out with the final possession. The rockets were too tired to go an extra session.

When Lin played his first 3 starts, people were saying he was the next Steve Nash, so let Lilliard have his moment. :) He's gonna be GOOD though.
