Douglas isn't all bad

    Yes, he missed a wide open layup and bricked a few other shots, but he is playing lockdown defense on Lillard. He hustles hard and helps his teammates up when they're down. As long as he's trying as hard as he can, I'm happy with him. People asking for him to get injured in the game thread are ridiculous - he's a person, not just a basketball player.

    He's just not a good point guard in any sense of the word which is kinda bad if you're a point guard.

    His defense is pretty good.

    I know Lillard is a rookie PG, but Douglas did really well, considering Lillard burned Lin in the fourth / OT.

    Did Tonye Douglass play Defense on Lillard in the 4th quarter than Lin

    sure looked like it too me

    to Lin defense, TD is just awful at everything else, how many wide-open layups did he miss tonight

    He can hustle all he wants, bottom line is, he has to produce. If he cannot, he will lose his backup guard role.

    Tony Douglas didn't shut anyone down, he had two nice steals tho. He left Lilard open for a three and cheated on one where Lilard had a midrange.
