Brilliant move, I think. If nothing else, most people just want these ****ers to work together to try and do something that is going to help those of us outside the Beltway. The vocal (both speech and money) minority do not represent what most Americans feel, IMO.

 

This is why i hate the media nowadays. You get gossip posing as analysis.

Plus, the very thing that people want to see, bipartisanship, is being discussed as a weapon to inflict damage on the other side. How does t that reward bipartisanship again?

I'm taking issue that this is being praised s the exception than the norm, with tacit acknowledgment to the reader and his "side".

It's too bad we have to have a disaster to get it. Those feelings have already been swept away by the campaigns and the media.
