Before the harden trade, i only feared the top 8 seeds from the west and the top 6 seeds from the east. With Harden, I only fear the basketball gods and the fact that in the playoffs it's a series not a one and done elimination game. So no sky is falling for me. never to high or never to down. One thing is for sure, the future is so bright..we're going to need 3d glasses.

If you have realistic expectations of this team, you will not be frustrated. I am enjoying watching them without much expectations really. We have a fantastic player in James Harden, three decent-to-good players in Asik/Lin/Parsons. The rest is mostly experimental or fodder. All playing under an average coach. So, what exactly are you expecting? For them to tear up the Western conference? At this time the only thing that can frustrate me about this team is Tony Douglas continually getting PT.
Should have kept Lowry and Kmart The past few wins were fools gold. No way a below average overpaid PG with a small sample size can carry the Rockets. We should have fired McHale and kept Lowry. Lowry+Scola+Harden would've made the Rockets into contenders. Lin as SAS put it, is not good. Period. Morey should be fired for signing Asik to a 24 million contract. You just don't sign a bench player with no offense to that kind of money. Sure...grab a few extra rebounds.. So what. Hwne you have no PFs and SFs that can grab rebound of course yoou can grab 10+ rebounds while scoring nothing. Harden is good but not max good. Sure, score 40+ points but that is what SGs do when you are the only scoring option when your TO prone PG can't even finish at the rim. Kevin Martin would've averaged the same amount of points with the current line up. Overrated.... Why blow up a talented team and go for second stringers based on some hocus pocus statistics with little sample size. Morey is an assistant GM at best. Asik isn't averaging 20+ points like Yao. Let's try to waive Asik or trade him at the deadline, and see if Yao can comeback to lead us to a championship. We also need to see if we can trade Harden (while his value is high) for Rudy Gay or Joe Johnson!
