I really think this is a major issue that will cost us many games if not fixed. Maybe run Douglas 1 or 2 more games at max, if his bricking shots and not playing defence which he already is doing... I don't know what options we really have..
Season's young. It's not like we're an old team. We're not competing for a championship yet. We have a lot of time to find that backup PG.
You can't expect Douglas to be something he's not -- he can't run an offense. Today, he was put on the court together with Harden so it does look like McHale is diminishing Douglas' PG duties. He's very energetic on defense but he hasn't been a stopper when he's on the court. That's probably the thing that frustrates me the most about him, and the second unit in general. They aren't getting stops.
Not many FA options at PG. Is it in any way possible to get Livingston back? Anyone we can trade for?

At some point in the season, we're gonna have to depend on the rookies to step it up cause Lin/Harden can't play 40 mpg for 82 games. In other words, Machado?
We should try to score JJ Barea or Luke Ridnour from the Wolves when Rubio comes back. Price can't be too high and they would be a HUGE boost over T. Douglas.
Let's give Douglas just a little more time. I know, it was a rough two games, but again, two games. Let's see what happens if he can learn to play within the offense. I believe we were spoiled by having Dragic as a back up PG. We don't have that kind of luck any more. We need Douglas to play within the offense, and stop trying to be Lin, by making extremely tough passes, driving hard to the basket, etc. Let's see what happens with more than a couple of game under his belt.
He's not a PG... Man if we could somehow get Bledsoe as a backup...too bad that ain't happening, his value is prob going up.
