Not enough tall buildings. I rewatched it again on a plane and still enjoyed it. Like I said before I was really skeptical of the remake and wasn't a big fan of Garfield but the movie is good and even though I still don't really like the euro trashy looking Peter Parker I thought he did well
He could swing around between trees in Borneo or the Amazon. Saving people by bringing Jesus into their lives, amirite?
Saw it finally. Didn't think that one guy was all that bad as Spiderman but the movie blew man. The plot is like that of a late 90's superhero movie. Tired of all these -- the clock is literally ticking, odds are stacked against me -- endings too. Really cheesy movie, it could ported frame-by-frame and redone as a Saturday morning cartoon version of Spiderman and it'd fit right in. The only thing decent about this movie was that it had Stan Lee's best cameo scene to date.
What's up with all the crappy MJ castings. MJ was one of the hottest comic characters ever. Personally, I wouldn't mind Emma playing both Gwen and MJ. Can't have enough of Emma.
Better than **** movie they have now. And what's with the mechanical web shooter fixation? Is it just too far fetched that a half-man-half-spider could shoot a web? I guess they need realism.
Fast forwarded most of the movie. Thought it was dreadfully boring and not necessary. Reading that Fox had to hurried to retain the rights so they popped out this movie seems about right. The look was alright. Hopefully they don't mess up with the second one. If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would be more interested in an Iron Man or Thor movie instead of one of my most beloved heroes due to the cartoon, I would have not believed it. Kind of sad that Spiderman can not find a decent script. Hoping one day they have the Sinister Six involved.
I'm sorry but that's just not true haha. Any movie with an actress acting for multiple main characters would be instantly ridiculous and laughable. The movie was pretty bad, but let's not get carried away.
Spider-man never had the ability to shoot out webs on his own, he's always had a mechanical web shooter. That toby got the ability naturally crap was the unrealistic part. /fanboy.

This, Sam Raimi who directed the Toby Maguire trilogy made it so Spiderman could spray webs naturally after he was bit. Originally from the comics he did not have such powers and had to create those web shooters as portrayed in the movie. On the Marie Jane subject, I agree they probably could have cast someone better. They should have had Emma Stone as Mary Jane and pick one of the other million blonde girls in hollywood to play Gwen.
That's right. My mistake. Was thinking of Wolverine. But other then that still feel that way. Electro might be a decent villian for the next movie. I just hope the Jaime Foxx rumors are not true.
Disagree. I flipped past a "hip hop" opera in which R. Kelly, a dude who pisses on underage girls plays multiple roles and it was still better than this Spider Man movie. Y'all are 100% right on the web shooter btw. Brain fart.
