The best one is 888-296-2000. Just tell them since you can't get the Rox, and you have a better deal from Direct TV you're thinking of leaving although you really love Uverse. Worked for me and received 80$ of my monthly bills and I have every channel available and the highest speed internet. Paying $140 now.
Might be for another city where they have successfully had negotiations. For some reason Houston is the most problematic.
Maybe because ATT makes billions and billions of dollars off their customers? Plenty of blame to go around for everyone including the providers.
Woke up this morning and it's still the same old story. No deals announced, no new columns being written about the situation, and no end in sight. Missing 1 game is 1 too many.
FYI I knew I wasn't going to cancel but I called DirecTV and told them I wanted to cancel. They gave me $10 off a month for 6 months and all the movie and sports channels for 2 months.
Send a news tip to all the local news stations. It takes just a minute to fill out the forms and who knows maybe it will make a difference... DTV gave me an additional $5 off for 3 months this morning when I called to ask if there was anything coming down the pipe. I wasn't even looking for another discount and I didn't even mention cancelling lol.
It's been said that the NY deal eventually got done because of Lin. Maybe the Lin-Harden can save this from being a season long thing. I can't see it being as bad as Portland since we do have the Astros as well.
I should be able to watch my local teams but I will never give Comcast the satisfaction of switching.
I don't think i'll wait that long. If DirecTv doesn't have it before the home opener tomorrow night, I'll cancel
You guys are weak. I'm holding out until the bitter end. I'm not switching providers (huge pain in the ass) over this nonsense. I'm happy with my service. Yes, I'm sure no one is blameless in this debacle, but the bottom line is that the Rockets are obligated to make sure their games are able to be seen in as many households as possible if they want to build their fanbase. They should have seen this coming. And they should be doing more than just telling people to call their providers. I'm not going to put forth any more effort than they do to be able to see their games. I'll just keep watching the highlights here the day after the games. Thanks again, Clutch.
