Excellent thread idea! Another opportunity to prop up last season's PGs while we put down Jeremy Lin.

And where is Toney Douglas in that list?

Sura played only one year for us, but he was awesome in that year. He was a triple-double threat on a nightly basis.

He does faint, but does so awesomely.

Abstaining from ranking Lin until we have a better sample size.

    1. Lowry
    2. Francis
    3. Dragic
    4. Brooks
    5. Sura
    6. Alston

They all have unforgettable moments in Rockets lore though - Alston killing the Lakers and toying with Vujacic in the 22nd straight win, Sura knocking down clutch trey after trey in Game 2 against the Mavs in 05, Brooks looking like a bonafide star against the Lakers in 09. Love our PGs.

    1. Sura
    2. Francis
    3. Lowry
    4. Alston
    5. Dragic
    6. Lin
    7. Brooks

Aside from the championship days that team with Barry, Sura, Yao were my all-time favorite, such a fun team to watch and such amazing chemistry between the players. Some of the best chemistry I've ever seen.. ever

Sura within his less than a year with the team brought me more cheers and joy than Francis did his whole career here, the dude was good and played balls out every second of every game

    In order:

    Lin
    Alston
    Brooks
    Lowry
    Francis

Lin is the best prospect of going to the NBA Finals with the Rockets, the rest didn't do it. Alston led us to a first-round win, so I put him ahead of Brooks who won more games than most Rockets PGs. Lowry didn't led us to anything, but draft picks. And Francis made Chucky retired early, probaly a reason his distaste for the Rockets. I know it is 1st game, but of all the PGs, Lin is probaly more suited to being a pure PG, the others act like one (Alston), or mainly SGs (the rest of them).
