Thought so as well, however the Promise to You site with CSN Houston on it leads me to believe they may get something done soon. Just praying man.
i have Dish and live in Sugarland, i was able to watch it on tv last night....i was watching it on NBA LEAGUE Pass free preview on channel either 564-565. but Detroit's regional network is FSN not CSN....so that was probly why i was able to watch it....
It might do you guys some good to invest in an HDMI cable if you haven't already. Links are posted for every game on the bbs. Connect the computer to your TV and voila. I did this last night and it was by no means HD quality, but serviceable for the time being.
Most of us (I know I do) do that already. I would much rather watch the game in HD rather than the **** quality on the streams. The streams are also full of Malware which is another annoying thing.
I lived in Sugarland and have Dish, i was able to watch the whole game last night...i believe it was either channel 564-565 but i had the league pass free preview..Had to listen to their own commentator but thats ok as long as i was able to watch the Rockets game!!
Well I got hooked up by direct tv so I will be staying with them. She sounded very positive that a deal will get done very soon.
Haha, I got two rather unprofessional and mildly ugly responses to my posts on CSN Houston's Facebook page. Apparently they do not like the idea of someone calling their advertisers marketing departments to inform them that we're able to watch the game online without advertising and for free, while >60% of Houston is unable to watch the game. Last nights available streams were quite good quality wise, and no commercials is a plus, I'm not about to harass ATT when I know the issue stems from Concash, the Rockets and the Astros. No news today I'm afraid, but thanks to you fine folks the games can still be seen. Thanks clutchfans!
We'll be hearing the same BS rhetoric for weeks and months... maybe all season... Oh it'll be sooooon. How soon? Give me a deadline! If not it's all hot air. Don't believe them.
living in austin this entire thing has me disgusted. I hate seeing austin change to rangers territory and if astros games are not viewable then the transformation will be complete. Does anyone in austin know if we do get the channel will rockets games be viewable?
I hope you realize that ATT makes billions and billions of dollars per year off you and their other customers. I think they all should share the blame. They are all fighting over who gets to keep your money.
Yeah, that really sucks big time. In N. Texas however, NBA League Pass is the only way to see the Rockets unless they play on ESPN, TNT or ABC. Their games on Fox Sports Net were never shown up here anyway - we were restricted to the Mavericks. The nice thing about League Pass was the streaming of the games over the Internet. Looks like I'm going to have to pay up to see Harden and Lin.
I buckled and got Comcrap in addition to my DirecTV. I just got 1 HD receiver to get this stupid channel. F Comcrap
Guys I'd encourage you to write to news stations and papers at this point, venting your frustration and asking for coverage of the blackout. So far Chron has done a blog post about it but the coverage overall has been seriously lacking. They could really stand to look at all the parties involved including fans and business owners being blacked out of games.
I've been reaching out to Chron.com and other writers like Kurt Helin on Probasketballtalk...but it doesn't seem to be working
