watched last night's game again in more detail (thanks DXtreme for the vid), i am even more excited. i really think we have one of the best backcourt in the league. other good backcourts i can think of:

    Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups
    Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili
    Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash
    Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis
    Ty Lawson and Andre Iguodala

personal opinion: our backcourt is better than Kobe Bryant / Steve Nash based on yesterday's games

    Heck no.

They may one day develop into it, but Lin is still fairly raw and both he and Harden are learning the system. At the end of the season we will know for certain but Lin and Harden are both very good but by no means the best backcourt out there.

Most people think of Durant as a forward, not a guard. He therefore wouldn't be part of any backcourt.

Too early to say, but over at PSD people are ranking Houston's back court consistently in the top 10 and some are putting it in the top 5 now.

We're definitely near the top of ones to watch.

We might just be at the start of something really special.

allen is like 80 years old. more of a spot up shooter now, breaking down defence? nah...

    Durant is a 3.

    Backcourt = 1 & 2.

Right now, we have a top 10 backcourt at best...but with Harden slowly creeping up to best SG in the league and JLin working his way into the top 15 or top 10 PG discussions, we could eventually have a top 5 tandem.

Dwill / Joe Johnson is better but I think we have the third best after them and Kobe/Nash.

Chris Paul and Chauncey Billups > No way. Chris paul is dominant.
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili < they are both aging. Our pair will meet and beat them soon enough.
Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash = Kobe is old and injured. Nash doesn't get any pick and rolls to run, goes up court and hands ball to kobe. What a waste of talent.
Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis < Neither guys won anything. Puts up alot of points but no wins.
Ty Lawson and Andre Iguodala < Ty is up and coming, iguodala is a good defensive piece, good be we are much better.
