I have DirecTV and was amazed when at 6:30 I put it on 754-1 and saw the CSN Houston feed on League Pass. Got to enjoy the first half in full HD and loved every second of it.

I guess it must have been a mistake by DirecTV because at halftime 754-1 went dark and the Detroit feed was blacked out.

I heard on the radio this morning that Matt Jackson said that supposedly CSN was close to a deal with a provider, I'm wondering if it was DirecTV based on my experience last night.

After watching one half in HD and the other half with choppy internet stream I will be calling DirecTV this afternoon and giving a cancellation threat.

NBA League Pass is a free preview on Directv until Sunday I believe. After that, you'll have to pay $180 for the season package if you want to follow the Rockets.

What a miserable night last night. Following the game score on an ESPN app instead of watching it in HD.

Golly gee, I guess I'll just go to I want CSN Houston dot com and sign the petition derp derp derp.. :rolleyes:

Not that this will make anything better, but I drove by a comcast van on the freeway this morning and flipped him the bird as I drove by him.

It made me giggle since I was watching the game via **** stream

I have Uverse and looked last night to see if the channel was available. There are a couple other CSN channels for other cities, but no Houston. I also noticed that those other channels do not allow recording.

Even IF this crap gets ironed out, I'm afraid there will be a channel restriction where we cant record the games.

I think that's because you're not subscribed to those CSN channels.

    Just called AT&T

Still no deal but they were able to reduce my bill by $35 and they gave me the NBA League Pass for free as well. I had to commit to one year for the lower price but the cancellation fee is only $180, and it reduced by $15 every month you have it. So if in a month they still dont have CSN the fee to cancel is $165.

I'm guessing they get something done by Monday, especially with such a good game yesterday. People are probably calling a lot today so I called to see what I could get for free before they strike a deal and get the channel.

I met up with some friends at BWW in clear lake last night excited to watch the game. 6:40 rolled around and there was no rockets anywhere so I asked the manager to put it on CSN and they did NOT have it. So I called every other bar in clear lake to see if they were showing the rockets game and not 1 had it available. So we ultimately went to my buddies house who has comcast.... I'm guessing that a very few amount of Houstonians got to witness a great performance last night

    ....shame

This doesn't work if you live in the Houston area due to Blackout restrictions.

I've been blocked from posting on Comcast Sportsnet Houston's Facebook page.

It's so negative there, it's awesome. I like that they're trying to spin it, and that response means that they're obviously feeling the pressure.

    Let them hear you!

Yea I know it's a free preview, just noting that Directv actually had a CSN Houston feed that I could watch from my house in Houston for a half until they cut it off. I was guessing that meant there was a chance they were close to a deal.

They were close to a deal so allowed access to only one person who has directv to watch for 1 half. Hmmmm.

You will be able to record. Thats what they put up when you are subscribed to the channel. Same thing on movie channels.
