greg is solid but definitely not on defense end as a center. w/o asik, detroit just punched inside alot and had a few 2nd chances with greg playing center.

I regret cutting Livingston/keeping Douglas. If Douglas goes on to prove his performance last night was no fluke, can we get Livingston back, please? Or has he already signed elsewhere?

I saw enough of MM last night to last the rest of my life. How about TJ and Moti get some minutes at the 4? Free TJ!

    Not worried about bench.

    1. Hopefully the rookies will step up given time.

    2. We should all know by now Morey is a master of making small and incremental improvements to the roster. We now officially have our star player and foundation to build with. That's the hardest part. The supporting cast? We are in good hands with Morey.

Well, this is kind of the "story of" the Rockets life isn't it? Either have a good starting line up and a crappy bench or a bench that's better than our starting line up.

Backup point is the only area of concern for me, due to Douglas first game being abysmal to the point, Harden had to come in and play point when Lin was in foul trouble.

No other concerns since Delfino can play either SG or SF and had he not been in foul trouble, probably would have spelled Harden in normal games as Morris or one of the rooks probably would have came in for Parsons or Patterson.

The only thing that bothers me is that seeing Morris first in line after PPat at PF means the log jam at PF is real. None of these guys is a SF in disguise.

I never would have thought that Morris was going to be first in line behind PPat. DMo is screwed unless he can get some minutes at Center. TJones will get some play depending on matchups at the 3 and 4 and possibly 5. Royce is tough tho, I don't know where he fits if Morris is the first PF off the bench. Royce has to be able to guard a PF and play Harden's role in the offense. Harden ain't going to be on the bench much.

going to be interesting seeing how things play out over the next couple of months.

Im glad our bench sucks... that's how it should be right now, focus on getting a contending starting 5, which we are 1-2 good players away from, then focus on the petty things on the bench..

Nobody is expecting a championship run from this team... therefore i'm glad there isn't a bunch of wasted talent on the bench. Focus on the five, let's move away from asset stockpiling and move toward a championship.

with no back up point, the coaching staff has to figure out a rotation that allows harden/ parsons to be in there with the second unit, handling the offense, without them having to play 40+ minutes a game.

I hope Royce improves to his potential. I'd like to see him running the offense with the bench unit.

Bench needs Machado or Royce, let TD play the 2 spot.

Douglas, Morris, and Cook were less than impressive, sure, but lets give them a bigger sampling than 1 game before we write them off.

I thought Smith and Delfino played well.

I think Morris should get the first shot over Dmo, Jones and White. He is a second year guy while the others have ZERO nba experience. In the meantime, we will see what Morris can do with extended playing and all the while give the rooks more adjustment time.
