Yes, Rockets fans will come to hate Douglas. I'm sorry, but he can't be good because of his head -- he gets too nervous or something, chokes, can't make decisions.

I think maybe Fields will become hated by Raps fans too.

All the good things apart, I think that either Lin or Harden needs to be on the floor all the time. When the two are not on the floor, things become chaotic

Man, How good would have this team been (to watch) if Lowry, Gogi, Scola, Harden and Asik were playing. I badly miss Scola, Lowry and Gogi!

 

Love Donuts in the back there chomping away at some peanuts or something.

 

So glad we were able to pull out the win. It was definitely nerve racking watching the game, the momentum kept going back and forth. They still need to work out some kinks for the next game.

things doesn't look good when there's only one of them on the court as well , it's obvious that our back up PG and SG couldn't step up ( Delfino's foul problem in the 1st quarter didn't help also)

I was at the game last night and watching our team live, a few things jumped out to me.

1) Even live, I still don't know how Harden gets to the bucket as consistently as he does. It seems like he has a deceptive first step, and makes great use of his long strides and ball handling to get to the bucket and shield the ball effective enough. He is also a lethal finisher at the bucket. There is really no weakness in his game. The only thing he can't or doesn't do is have a post up game, but most wing players don't develop one until later on in their career.

2) Last night was a one game sample of Lin's entire last season. There were moments where he looked like the Lin of the 3 week run he had with the Knicks, and there was also some of Lin that wasn't as effective before he was shut down for the season. The turnovers were there and its concerning, but what suprised me was his change of direction. Got by Knight on more than one occasion just by changing direction and attacking the hoop.

Outside of our big 2, Asik looked good. He can protect the bucket and change the game defensively. Morris was up and down. Would like to see him finish stronger at the hoop. And Parsons looked good and had a real nice half court length pass up the middle of the court to set up an easy bucket in transition.

Overall, it was a good team effort where the only time they looked lost was the 2nd half of the 3rd quarter. Other than that they either dominated play or played on par with the Pistons.

I snapped a few photos on my phone and will look to put those up after work.
