But those guys sounded sincere in what they were saying about Harden. Granted this is just one game, but they were predicting, before tonights game, he would struggle as a starter. Hilarious.

Harden might not be able to maintain the beastly performance as the season goes on

But it is true he's more like a second tier star, the first tier being lebron, durant, cp3, da-white etc. But he's only 23 and I think he can reach that first tier if he keeps on improving.

Someone needs to post the Hollinger article for them.

Their predictions are lame: his efficiency and TS% will dip.

No ****e. He's going to be playing more minutes as a starter on a team with fewer offensive weapons. Now you show me someone with high useage who hits 49% of FG's, 39% of 3's and 85% of FT's while putting up a good number of rebounds and assists.

Even if his efficiency dips, he is at least a top 5 SG in the league. Right now at this moment, he's probably still a tier 2 star but he is among the best tier 2 stars out there and probably with the best chance at become a tier 1 star.

Finally, if he is a tier 2 star, then what is Westbrook? His best season is 46%/31%/82%. Last season as the PG he averaged 5.5 assists to 3.6 TO's.

Frankly, if they had asked me who I want out of those two, I pick Harden. I bet by the beginning of next season, Thunder fans will wish they traded Westbrook rather than Harden.

Harden is tier 1. I knew he was tier 1 last year. He's better than Westbrook. He should have been running point and Westbrook should have been shooting guard. This will be abundantly clear after a few more games. This was no fluke.

Lol, none is gonna trade us lebron, wade caliber star for K-skinny-mart and picks. I know it's only one game and against the lowly Pistons w/ a narrower win than the score suggests, but com'on the fact he made company with Jordan, wade on tonight's stat line says something about his quality, doesn't it?

    Yep.

Martin wears out his stay soon enough for every team. Once they realize he's fool's gold...he'll get his numbers though...

But any Rocket fan that watched tonight's game and all the Martin games immediately saw the difference. Harden made big shots and big plays to bring the team back into the game and to win it.

Martin would have made 15 points in the first half, got the other 8 or so in the 2nd and be done with it.

    :D

This sentimental Thunder fan has nothing better to do than to worry for the Rockets.

I'm not surprised that they might be bitter, but they are going be bitter with anyone, it should be ownership and management, not James Harden.

At least one of their forum crew admitted that Harden was a good pick up on page seven.
