Just finished the game. Like what I saw, especially from Harden. A few problems like our second unit, rebounding, turnovers, Morris starting (wtf???) etc, but definitely a good start to the season.

LOL yea when i saw morris i was thrown off...even more when i watched him practically do nothing to help the offense go aside from those few dunks that were given. i was hoping parsons wouldn't be so hesitant but i'm sure that'll wear off quickly...he's a pretty confident guy.

The two were on the court together for 35 minutes and in that span, the Rockets outscored the Pistons by 23 points, shot 54 percent from the field, and were 7-for-16 from 3-point range.

In the 13 minutes they were off the court, the Pistons outscored the Rockets by 13 points, and Houston shot just 33 percent, including 3-for-11 on 3-pointers.

False, Toney Douglas is trash as PG. He can play as a 2 on our bench, not a 1. Every Knicks fan can tell you that.

Kinda lame that Livingston was too expensive for us. We need to deal one of PF for a backup point guard.

The game was exciting. Back court showed a lot of promise. There is a lot of good, some bad. It will be interesting to see how the back court handles a better defensive team that will be telling & likely not in a good way. Parsons was a little bit sloppy but I am not to worried. Morris was really sloppy. Asik was really impressive. Douglas was terrible. Delfino was huge for us with those three's.

This team definitely isn't making the PO's. There was spacing issues a lot of times on the floor tonight. Why didn't Jones play that was frustrating. Lin still needs to keep his dribble in the paint a few times he lost it. He was getting hacked but no calls should have been at the line a lot more. Not sure if it was questionable decisions by him or him not getting called. He has the speed but he still isn't explosive & you can see by his struggles to finish. He hit his FT's which is key needs to consistently hit those. It was funny somebody yelled out Yao Ming. Thought he would definitely miss his second one after that but he didn't. Our backcourt showed promise & there is definitely a foundation to build upon. I love Harden & Lin but I would relax on the superstar & linsanity talk. Still has a ways to go.

At this point... Morris and Douglas for Isiah? (You think the Kings would hang up on us?) On a more serious note, all we need is a game manager right? Toronto might want Calderon off their hands. We would probably have to do better than Morris/Douglas though. Machado/Morris?

Loved this game, but it's still irritating me that it's likely going to take a few losses before McHale realizes the obvious and starts to give Jones and Machado some PT.

Don't put too much hope into it. The reason Linsanity even happened was because Douglas was so bad the Knicks gave Lin a chance. I remember reading the Knicks board then and he was the most hated player on there. It will probably be the same here.
