No one is undermining Harden's performance. Others are undermining Jeremy Lin's influence/presence. If you watched the game it was obvious when Jeremy Lin left the floor the offense and defense suffered. To those who wanted Dragic/Lowry, get over it. Lin has more potential and this his 26th start. Lowry and Dragic have played longer and also both are not coming back from a knee injury. Did u think that Linsanity was some fluke? It wasn't. Last year, Lin clearly outplayed Dragic. There is no point whining and crying over players who left the team. If you love them so much go join a Toronto Raptors or Phoenix Suns forum.
Boy needs to work on his PnR D though, still gets hedged on the screens too much. Needs to mix it up and go under it occasionally to stop guys that can shoot from getting free and getting a good look (like Knight did against him in the 1st half)
You're right. I went back and re-read the game thread and I must've misread what some posters were saying during the heat of the game. In that case, consider my argument a pre-emptive one.
Look dude the game was really ugly. Harden stepped up and carried the team. Without him we would be gone! But that was not enough. thankfully so players (Asik Jlin Delfino) pulled their weight. But this will not do, we are suppose to beat the Piston. I am relieved that we won though, but even you have to agree with me. it's ugly as a team .
Fu¢k 'em, all these farts want to do is remember a time when the Rockets sucked, notably last year. Enjoy the win, I am super happy, and I'm trolling the annoying, "but we miss dragic" fans.
Really? From what I saw, the general consensus is that Harden was the MVP of this game by far, while Lin had a solid game. Rockets also suffered when Lin was in foul trouble. Barely anyone has said that Lin was the reason for the win, except for maybe a few trolls. No one's undermining Harden's performance. Pretty much. And to those who are resorting to personal attacks, grow up.
Exactly. Solid outting, but can def improve. Which is mostly why I made this thread. He has the potential for much more.
<br> No, Rockets fans do care. And they are not annoyed. We are however annoyed by the LOF's. Are your jimmies still rustled brah?
the thing you haters need to understand is... we dont give a shiet what you think... if you wanted these guys so much... you should have put up the money for them...
Very fair post. I think Lin was average on offense but excellent on defense. I think he needs to have more confidence to take more midrange shots, which were money for him at Harvard. I saw him pass up quite a few, but I think he was just trying to get his teammates involved.
once lin shakes off the rust and gets his knee up to par, i'm very excited to see what he and harden can do as a backcourt. watch lin play, he's very good at making things a lot smoother for everyone else. granted he blew some close shots (like he was following marcus morris' footsteps or something) at least he is still capable of getting to the rim.
Why we have to argue who is better. This is team sport and we celebrate for our Win. Get these gorgi things outta here.
More nonsense from your little head. I am rooting for the Rockets, I am even rooting for Toney Douglas to play better. Beyond that, you are nothing but an annoying little boy, that just yells insults when people don't agree with you. Read my posts, I am a huge fan of Jeremy Lin, and also the team he plays for. I am not a fan of people like yourself, that just **** on other people's parades. I came to this site, hoping for level-headed adults, and I found some. I also found douches like yourself.
