I think they are both young and willing enough to learn how to roll. You saw Harden directing Asik to roll on that one play. And I did see Asik hit an 18-footer in preseason. But their ability to crash the offensive boards, the defensive boards, and play interior defense outweighs their shortcoming on offense. They also both run hard down the court, so it is not like we are stuck with a couple of Mark Eatons or Greg Kites out there. It may look ugly at times, but it will be darn effective. Hope Smith's injury is not serious and we can see if I'm right. I'm a fan of playing your best players, regardless of position. This especially works with guys like Harden and Lin who can both play 1 and 2.
People keep whining about "LOFs" and how they ruin threads. I see way more LOH trolls here, coming out from under their bridges even after a Rockets win. SMH.
LOF's already crediting Lin for each win like Tinman predicted. Smh. Harden goes off for 37/6/12 and Lin was the reason for the win. LOL!

Thats what I mean by finding his groove back. At his peak during Linsanity (and afterwards), he was at his best switching up his pace - like knowing when to attack (and draw fouls, something he hasn't a lot of so far) and when set the spacing and dish out to his teammates and just running the team in general. He also had some midrange game to balance his attack out. Right now he's either going headstrong at 90mph with his head down and hoping to draw a foul or he becomes hesitant and doesn't know what to do.

We just won an exciting game and saw an amazing performance from Harden. In all likelihood we aren't going to get a ton of wins so why waste this high talking about FORMER players. You guys are seriously killing the mood. I'm out.
<br> The thing that these LOF need to understand is that Lin has big shoes to fill. In the past 3 years Houston has had some VERY good point guards. Aaron Brooks won MIP for a reason. Lowry averaged nearly a triple double for a long time. Dragic played at an all star level for way more games than Linsanity. Because of that I'm not going to sit here and act like everything Lin does is by the will of Jesus, as if he is incapable of doing any wrong. I'm going to accurately assess his performance. And his performance tonight was alright. Nothing to write home about. It was about average for an NBA point guard. We had better before. Hopefully Lin gets better with time, but for now that is how it is.
