Tonight was a good win, and an even better performance for Harden. But the chemistry better get there quick and players need to step up because otherwise Harden might burn out a little too soon... haha.

Considering that Morris has been hurt for a few weeks and has been focusing more on SF, I give him slack for a subpar game. He looked good defensively in the 1st half. More than anything, he just looked nervous - like he was trying too hard.

Pat's a solid player and will hopefully be back soon. Don't know why we didn't play TJ, but Parsons did a decent job at 4.

I agree. There was a 5-point swing at the end of 2nd quarter when he had his 1st TO trying to force a pass to Harden. Good thing he solidified the team defense when he came back after sitting on the bench.

I'm just amazed how much Lin and Harden fed off each other in just 5 days so the Pistons can't just focus on one. Their basketball IQ is off-the-charts!

If this is what 5 days look like, imagine what this duo will do in 2-3 years!

As im watching this espn nba coast-to-coast, i feel like Bowen and Broussard are still in disbelief that Harden just did what he did. Idk, that's just me

Broussard asked in in such a bad way that I don't blame Harden for not answering. Broussard came off as a total schumuck

F*** Broussards wannabe Stephen A. Smith ass. He's always been negative towards the Rockets, go back and watch what he said when we were going after Bosh. I hate that guy, what a disrespectful question...

Good point but his paint D and rebounding ability will be missed...:(

Mook is a four that needs the ball in post up situations, 2 years running & Mchale hasn't figured it out. He's useless off the dribble from 25feet away from the basket. T- Jones, Patterson, D-Mo and White may push him off the roster.

Douglas is a scrub who'll be out of the league once the Rox trades or cuts him.

Awesome. Solid D. Playing defense like a true big man should instead of jumping around all over the place. Had a sweet block and a couple of smooth moves at the rim.

We should give Douglas a chance.

He looked good. Held his own against Greg Monroe. Solid defense as expected. Also had a few nifty reverse layups (developing offense).

I'd put him as our 3rd most important player in the game today behind #1 Harden and #2 Lin.

If Harden was still in OKC, his potential would be wasted coming off the bench.

Busy with Halloween while watching the game, which had me looking for an android to blow away from time to time, but now things have settled down a bit. Gotta question... anyone still worried about The Trade? There were some worried folks out there, a few, anyway. Hope you relax now and start worrying about something else, like our bench.

Harden is going to be recognized as a superstar soon. Heck, Bill's already calling him that. Lin looked very good, especially considering his play during preseason. The Rocks were a +23 while he was on the court. Asik is already a bargain for his contract, as far as I'm concerned. Chandler, while not having a good shooting night, played well over all, and stepped up during the 4th. Morris played like he was nervous, and had me nervous most of the time he was in. Just looking at a box score, you might not think he had that bad a game, but he really struggled. Douglas and Cook were horrible. I kept wishing Livingston was in there, instead of having been cut. And I hope this young team learns to control the turnovers in a hurry.

The team stepped up during the 4th. Morey and Alexander have to be sitting on top of that full moon right about now. Harden is amazing! Lin was a difference maker, and we need that from him. We just need a bench (and a 4... I thought we had a couple?) Maybe we have one and they're being hidden for Halloween. God, I hope so. Otherwise, I'm blown away by this first game, our new backcourt, and our terrific young center. Life is good! And if anyone didn't notice, they are showing the game again on League Pass. It just started.

Lakers lost a game to Dallas, and looks they will lose to Portland, do you still want Howard?
