I see your point. I don't blame Winston for anything. I don't really "blame" Mario either, but I do get annoyed that he is trying to act like he wanted to stay and it's all because of the front office that he isn't here. He wanted a contract that was unworkable for the Texans.

There are no bad guys involved.

Agreed. Mario isn't exactly media savvy, I think that's part of his problem. He needs to stop complaining about nagging injuries.

Harden was playing great when he had a chance to leave Oklahoma. Mario Williams was not.

Mario was not playing great for the Sooners. I agree.

No one hates you Mario. We're glad you're gone. You aren't worth half of what you are being paid, and while that sucks for the Bills, no one is blaming you for taking the offer. We would have done the same thing you did.

So good bye, good luck, and good riddance.

I'm sure Williams just wants Texans fans and friends to know that he did not want to play elsewhere. He obviously wishes he was still here, more than ever I suspect. Thing is, if Smith had made a counter-offer at a more realistic pay figure it would have been way less than he got from the Bills and then he could just say the Texans low-balled him.

Dude took way more money to play in Buffalo and I can't really blame him. I'm not sure why he is scrambling to clear his name (so to speak) with us... Surely the boos (and I honestly wish there would be none) won't hurt too bad.

Don't you get tired of joke posting? I've seen you around and you actually typed like a regular person until recently. It's only mildly entertaining when you do it from day 1.

He wanted big money, and he wanted to stay with the texans, but since he couldnt get both, he picked the money over playing for the texans.

and fans from a lot of teams booed players that got back playing there.

Asante Samuel was booed in Philly, and he got traded, he didnt leave in FA.

    Quit trying to analyze this.
There was NO way in hell they were going to give a guy with his motor 10 mil a yr and I'd be surprised if they'd even offer him 5 mil yr. They knew their defense was damn good without him, and if they brought him back it probably meant they'd lose Myers.

I can certainly question many of Smith's moves, but I have no doubt that they NEVER made an offer to Mario and it was the right thing to do. You spend that kind of $$ on difference makers. Anyone who thinks Mario is a difference maker has NO clue!!!!!
