Second that. I'm Spring/Woodlands and can't find anything. I wonder if the blackout extends that far north?
Blackouts extend to Dallas SA Austin even Lubbock. So I think it is safe to say blackouts extend to the Spring/Woodlands area
I don't think that's right. If you have NBA League Pass in any of those cities, you will be able to watch the Rockets. Not including Spring/Woodlands of course.
You bet it is: http://leaguepasssupport.nba.com/link/portal/7801/7801/Article/143/-What-are-blackouts
And...IT WORKED! I just called, lightly complained about the Rockets mess, we spoke about the weather in our areas, etc. I told her I've been with Uverse since they made it available in my area but Direct TV was offering me a better deal. Therefore, since I can't get the Rox I mine as well take the better deal saving money. My U300 went to U450 (with entire Sports package, free HD pay for two receivers and Palladia channel), Fastest internet speed available and I received $20 off NBA League Pass. Now my bill is $140.00 instead of $212.00. I LIKE! **** Comcast in their behinds. I would NEVER go back to such a horrible company. I guess I'll just hope I get the channel and Thanks Comcast for helping me lower my bill by $75.00! BTW- I spoke to a lady named Lori in Missouri. The whole convo took less than 10 minutes. Signed in for 1 year, everything available on Uverse plus highest internet speed for $140.00. I like! BTW- Rep for passing on the info!
If I'm in Austin with League Pass, will I or will I not be able to watch the game? What about on the nba broadband?
That was just an example. People in Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and even Lubbock will be able to watch the Rockets on league pass since the Rockets are not the main NBA team in their area.
Guys, read words instead of relying on a picture. In Austin and San Antonio, Spurs have the rights to broadcast their games. In DFW/Lubbock, it's the Mavericks. Unless there is a huge change to how it has always been done, if you're not in the Rockets broadcast area, they will not be blacked out on league pass.
Seriously thadeus, I think you are the only one who gets it around here. I'd give more rep, but I have to spread it around some more first.
You're right, it is an example, and you may be right in the overall context of things. But why clearly show SA and Dallas as being in the blacked out area?
Apparently to trick people into thinking the entire process has been changed. This link doesn't have a stupid map: http://www.nba.com/nba_tv/blackouts.html Since Rockets games are never televised locally in any of the cities you mentioned, they will not be blacked out.
