I hate KG, but totally agree with what he did. Too many players try to jump around the league chasing a ring after they've passed their prime. I'm looking at you Gary Payton and karl malone.

GP actually played a big role in that heat championship. Hit some big shots in the finals. I don't have a problem with ring chasing. Drexler did it.

Hakeem would have never gotten benched in the middle of a playoff run and then lied to.

I don't really like Ray Allen or KG. Both come off as douches and divas. I do however enjoy this. I think they respect and like each other fine. I think both enjoyed it to.

Drexler requested a trade, and Portland obliged. Not the same as leaving a perceived contender to go to another contender for less money. Obviously the path is easier with Miami, it wasn't like Boston had zero chance.

I was talking about when he signed with the lakers.

And if Drexler only wanted to chase a ring, he would have requested a trade to another team besides Houston. The Rockets only won 47 games that year and were the 6 seed in the playoffs. Not exactly everyone's pick to win the championship like the lakers in 2004 or the Heat in 2012.

I never really understood the KG hate. He's a passionate guy on the court and all signs point to him being a great teammate and person off the court. If he were a Rocket we'd all love him.

So it's not ok to go from one contender to a better contender when the old contender almost traded you? Loyalty is a 2 way street.

Drexler didn't chase a ring by any means. He rejuvinated a dwindling career and a stagnant Rockets team at the time. It was mutually beneficial. Without Drexler there would be no repeat.

I'm not faulting him, but it is nothing like Drexler. Drexler was more like KG going to Boston. He was on a contender, the team around him evaporated, and he wanted to be dealt.

Something to be said for actually doing something, and considering doing something.

But KG turned as soon as he felt it to stare down Ray, who didn't want a part in that staring contest, and didn't look back. I'd have blown him a kiss!

It's all an act. I'm sure they're playing Words with Friends after the game.

You see what Allen did after that? He drained a 3. Nuff said.

Both players wanted a new opportunity with a better chance to win. Nothing wrong with either scenario.

Yea honestly had he been a rockets everyone would be stating hes an example of how a true tough player is. I personally don't have a problem with it except for when he picks on players half his size. I fully understand Ray's perspective but at the same time the C's portrayed them selves as a tight bond association with dignity and tradition. For ray to not only leave but go to the biggest enemy, heck id be mad too.

One of your teammates that you played with in many tough games leaves and joins your #1 rival...I'd think most people would react the same.

Colin Cowherd is completely polarizing. Sometimes I disagree with him 200%. Sometimes I agree with him 200%.

This morning was an agree morning.

With regard to the KG situation, he correctly pointed out, KG is the same guy who in retrospect has said he wishes he left Minnesota sooner, and has advised the younger superstars - like Lebron - to go where they can win.

Ray Allen isn't a Celtic for life. He's now on his 4th team... something which KG apparently is fine with, I guess except when it involves a teammate of his leaving.

KG is a punk. There's no way around it. This is one of the least "punky" things he's done. His history of punching teammates should be enough to tell you that KG should be the last person you look up to as a model teammate or model competitor.

He's a model horrible teammate. Where have you been?
