Any NBA team can score more than 100 points. If this team doesn't score 100 in any game this year we just might go 0-82. No one is saying they will average over 100 the entire season. Harden proved last year he was a top 5 SG last year. Martin's not even top 10.

That's a bold prediction right there, son, considering that nobody in the NBA right now is likely to produce Linsanity numbers.

McHale says Patrick Patterson (strained quad) gametime decision. Expects Jones and Morris to pick up slack if Pat can't go.

Any team can beat any team on any given night. Doesn't mean predicting the Wolves will beat the heat is a good pick. I asked why it is that so many people think we will score so many points. Is your answer because any team in the nba can?

I'm sorry does preseason really even matter on regular season performance?

Respectfully disagree, nothing about PPatts game says "beast". Udonis Haslem at best but without the rebounding. T. Jones is much much much more talented than Patterson. He's def the future at the 4.

Asik and Destroy: 20 boards tonight and shutting down Monroe. Mark it down the man will be WELL worth his money this year!

Morris is going to play the four, I thought he was playing the three. Let's hope he's ready, guess D-Mo & White have to beat out at least Jones & Morris now..

Lin, CP & Harden need to combine for like 60+ tonight. Our bench is atrocious.

I agree, we have 0% low post threat but outside of beardsanity, we do have some scorers. Parsons, delfino, douglas, cook. Mostly jump shooters. We hardly have any offense from our frontline so i expect lin and harden to slash to the paint a lot.

    Rockets - 98
    Pistons - 93

Detroit's main offense would come from Monroe and Stuckey, our advantage, Asik and Harden will be assigned to guard em.

Agree. Mchale has been transparent with what they want to do.. run and gun. It makes it more difficult to run the ball if the opponent keeps making baskets. Patterson is our best pick and roll defender. In addition to that, I feel that he will blossom this year as we have 2 very good pick and roll guys (Harden and Lin) and Pat will get a ton of open mid range shots where he is almost money.

It was obviously a much bolder prediction than yours, but it still wasn't that bold a prediction considering the numbers last season. To put it another way, mine was a pretty safe bet, but it wasn't nearly as safe as yours (which was the point). ;)
