The away games are going to be blacked out too if you are in the blackout area. If you are in the Rockets blackout area you cannot watch any Rocket games, whether home or away, via league pass.

I just called AT&T and got them to give me more speed on my internet for the same price. I already have a great package deal, so I didn't try and b**** too much lol.

If you have direcTV and the sports package or premium package it will be on channel 663 (fox sports Detroit). Woohoo!

    ha :)

it's true though. i have all those regional networks too....they black out NBA and MLB games. It's not an end-around to paying for League Pass or the MLB TV package

Anyone have DISH? Was wondering if anyone called and complained and was offered a reduction in your bill or extra channels or something.

Yeah I know ..I kid.. your post was very debbie downerish though. Basically there is no way to watch it.. and I think it stinks that I have to get it illegally through streaming when I am willing to pay legitimately.

I was in california last year and gladly paid league pass just to see games. Now I am in texas and just so happens where I live there is only this corny ass suddenlink. It also happens to not be on the comcast deal either. moving back to texas I was looking forward to 2 things. pappadeaux and watching all the rockets games with homer announcers.

Someone is holding the rockets hostage and I'm not sure who. This is pretty ridiculous that I cant even watch them at all ..not on league pass or suddenlink or dish or directv or consolidated or even my f**ucking ham radio in my shed. f**UCK

Wow. Called Direct TV retention department, and spoke with the most clueless rep. First she asked, "what is the houston rockets? Is that some kind of sports team?" Um, yes..., then she precedes to try and find me what channel the rockets were on for the first 6 games. I kept telling her, Direct TV doesn't carry it, but she kept arguing with me. Finally after her trying to prove me wrong, she concluded Direct TV does not carry it the Houston Rockets. And to top if off... no discounts... baaaaahh.

Side note, at least I will be at the home opener! Getting beards for the family woot!

I'd buy this as a premium station if they let me. I'd pay for league pass if it was going to do me any good. I can't even give my money away to watch this game.

It's the most stupid thing about this whole deal. Sell the channel as a stand alone add on for $10 a month like it were HBO or something. Mutha Fuqers be too greedy, wanting the whole package. I bet they're holding out to try and get the sports bars and commercial establishments to switch. Problem is, they're over-valuing their product compared to the NFL. Sports bars will always go with Directv because it's got the best NFL setup. Stupid Comcast.
