    Sorry not going to ignore racist posts. This is not the first time he's done it either. I'm pretty sure if he made racist posts about black people, they are not going to be told to just ignore it.

    I agree, he keeps saying the Lin fans are going to divide the Rockets fans, but he's the one doing it.

    But it isn't obvious. Because Harden isn't the best player. Neither is Lin. Asik is the best player. This thread states your opinion of who the best player is doesn't make it fact though.

    Notice that I won't start a thread entitled "Omer Asik is the best player on the Rockets period" & start calling out anybody that things differently from me like some cyber bully with a undeserved superiority complex. Just saying.

    This thread doesn't say anything too complicated.

    If you look at just the poll and the first post. It's just a picture of morey and harden.

    the reaction by others is totally on what they think this is about. i can't read minds. that would be cool though.

    if people disagree, then they should say why they disagree. but i don't see any basketball reasoning here to prove my statement wrong.

    i mention i was rooting for the bears on one monday night and that i like walter payton was one of favorite players back in the day.

    of course kam would like to spin that, it's fine, only makes the thread more interesting.

    i always picked the 85 bears on the old madden games. defensive was awesome!

    Tinman, I've always liked you as a poster, but don't be disingenuous. The purpose of this thread was to dig at Lin fans. Your comment later about stinky tofu was also meant as a dig. You were clearly taking a shot at the Asian Lin fanbase. I know you aren't trying to be racist. It's simply a fact that Asians are supporting Lin.

    Sigh I am just going to ignore your other statements & adress the bolded sentence.

    Well my basketball reasons as to why Asik is the best player is because of his skill set & what he brings to the team. Just his presence of the floor impacts the game in so many ways that aren't seen on a stat sheet. If he goes down we loose games. As far as I am concerned the best player on the team isn't the person with the biggest name, most points or flashiest skills. It is the player that contributes the most to WINNING. That is all I care about winning games. Without Harden we can make do & win games. Without Lin we can make do & win games. Without Parsons we can make do & win games. Without Ppatt we can make do & win games. Without Asik we lose games because the lack of his presence affects us defensively & offensively.
