What about people outside the area where games would be blacked out, yet no comcast is available?:confused:

Regardless, I will keep streaming games and never go back to Comcast. I will hold my grown until AT&T resolves with Rockets/Comcast.

I moved to Montana this month after 25 years in Houston. I was sad I wouldn't be able to go to the Toyota Center for games this year....

But it turns out I'll probably see a lot more Rockets games than most Houstonians cause I have League Pass.

    SMH.

I REALLY feel for you guys. Complete BS.

Look what my brother found on the Chronicle about CSN Houston:

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2012/10/many-viewers-likely-to-miss-rockets-season-opener/

"Among those left in the cold as of Monday is Rockets CEO Tad Brown, who said he remains cautiously optimistic that CSN Houston will reach full distribution in the Houston area before the opener Wednesday night at Detroit. Brown subscribes to a satellite service that does not offer CSN Houston"

Smooth move, Rockets, even the Rockets CEO can't watch Rockets games.

Not sure this is on every provider, but I went to my League Pass channels, 753, 753-1, 754, and 754-1, all say Upcoming- Houston Rockets @ Detroit Pistons. I assume because of two channels having the game listed, as the -1 is HD, they have detroit's local feed, and Houston's CSN Houston feed set up for Wednesday.

I have DirecTV and live in NY, so not sure it is the same for Dish, Time Warner and other providers.

I don't think we've actually ever threatened to leave.

I was as nice as can be. Told them I loved their service and didn't really want to leave, but my love for the Rockets is stronger than my love for my provider.

My problem was probably that I emailed instead of calling.

Reid Laymance is a Houston Chronicle sports editor, he was asked on twitter who's at fault. Is CSN asking too much or that providers don't care? His answer kind of shocked me.

"csn wants providers like directv to carry for free or low cost, providers want csn to pay them to carry"

That certainly sounds like those bashing Comcast need to re-focus their ire elsewhere.

That's League Pass, channels 750 to 768 on DTV & as previously stated, there's a free preview(hoping to get you hooked) from today till 11/6. However the Pistons/Rockets game(channels 753 & 754) are "subject to blackouts in some areas of Detroit & Houston". If a game's listed on 2 channels, then will be the home team's broadcast & the other will be the visitor's broadcast.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Which sucks, because I do like my DirecTv. I really can't leave them though because here in the Beaumont area, nobody else has CSN Houston either

I know Comcast is the devil and all, but as anyone who is not a current customer called them to see if they would offer you anything to switch?

It's very sad if true. And I do trust the guy who tweeted it, I'm sure he has the scoop on the situation. Ridiculous
