[Official 2012 NFL Season] Fantasy Football Lineup Advice Thread

You guys think I can come back in the Monday night game?

I have 132, my opponent has 142

I have the Niners defense, my opponent has David Aikers the kicker

 

I'm hoping for a pick six and returned TD.

 

Alright guys, I have two trades on the table that I am considering.

I am 2-5 (and probably about to be 2-6). I have Ray Rice & Alfred Morris at tailback, and Victor Cruz & Dwayne Bowe at wideout. There is not a lot else to be excited about on my team.

I have two guys who are both bidding on Ray Rice. I am considering these trades:

Jamal Charles + C.J. Spiller + Dez Bryant for Ray Rice + Nate Washington
Stevan Ridley + Julio Jones for Ray Rice + Nate Washington

I need depth badly (as you can see, Nate Washington was my only real tradeable chip). My inclination is to take the Charles/Spiller/Bryant deal because it gives me more depth and gives Rice to a guy who has a record only marginally better than mine. What do I do?

 

I would go Ridley and Julio. IMO Charles/Spiller/Bryant are all in offenses that can't be trusted. KC will be officially out of it soon and who knows what will they do with Charles or how hard he wants to run. Spiller still splits, but I think is the best fantasy option in this group and Dez is inconsistent along with Romo who is inconsistent.

 

try to get more for rice and let the rest of the league know he's for sale. You should be able to get more

 

I hope not. I'm up 15 and am against the Niners D and Akers.

Alfred Morris. A bit more consistent, and not getting TD vultured.

Oakland is Martin's hometown. It will be interesting to see how he handles it.

Martin would be my pick in PPR.

 

Phillip Rivers vs KC
Josh Freeman vs OAK

Josh Freeman has playing amazing, the last 3 games, and Rivers just sucks, but Rivers can have a big game vs the Chiefs.

 

Someone picked up SD, so it's down to picking between these two.

After Minn's shatty week last week, Baltimore for sure.

 

I don't think there's a for sure answer here. Both teams have given decent fantasy points to QBs. I'd say Freeman, simply because I don't like Rivers. Rivers is a wild card, and you're safer with Freeman.

also one of my kickers has a bye...just drop and add anyone right? i mean kickers arent that valuable right?

 

SD/KC/CLE are your 3 options. The others aren't worth discussing.

San Diego is probably a safe bet.
Rivers is bound to turn the ball over, so KC has a chance.

For this week, I'd rank:

1) SD
2) CLE
3) KC

 

I'd put KC abolve CLE. I see Balt getting at least 24 points.
