That's 3 World Series wins in a row for that lesser NL 'conference'.

    another NL haters FAIL.

screw the junior circuit, screw the DH, screw Bud Selig, screw Nolan Ryan and his Rangers. Any questions? Screw your questions.

I'm only 26 and I think about playing the Braves in the playoffs 5 times in 9 years and division title races between the Astros & Cardinals in 2001, 2006, 2008, and playoffs in 2004 & 2005.

1986 team is something my dad always talked about. What an exciting yet crushing year. Dave Smith was a great pitcher for the Astros, but the Mets killed him. 2 blown saves, another that was lost in extras, and a nearly unhittable Mike Scott for game 7 wasted by giving up 3 runs in the 9th, and ultimately losing in extras.

The big question from Game 6: should Knepper have stayed in for the ninth?

    Retrospectively - no :)

The bigger question is why was Alan Ashby attempting a suicide squeeze in the first inning that went single-out-double-single-walk-single?
