I for one think Morey who I think for the most part blew it this off season, actually made a decent trade, but of course that's pure speculation on my part -- though it might save his job (numbers guys don't normally translate to wins). The $7 to carry Concash sports on Uverse is a rumor, and wholly unsubstantiated. Still not going to pay it, thankfully I can stream from my mac to my TV, though the frame rate leaves much to be desired. Still furious with the Rockets, Astros, and Concash. I wouldn't switch back to them if hades froze over, or if they offered me a free year, quite content with my Uverse and will find something else to do to entertain myself. Just really irked with the rockets dropping the ball on their loyal fans, people get pissed about player strikes, I for one say this travesty is 10x worse and I blame all involved, not my cable provider.
So, are there links that we can use to watch games on internet? If so, could someone be so kind as to post those links for the benefit of those of us who are interweb challenged. Thanks

Hopefully Good Sign It’s a busy beginning for what shapes up as a busy week. Today’s agenda will be checking out the new turf field at Reliant Stadium, updating the weekend Nielsens and checking on Comcast SportsNet Houston carriage issues as the Rockets’ season opener Wednesday approaches. On the middle front, you may find it of interest that Time Warner Cable struck deals over the weekend with Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse to carry its new Lakers RSN in Los Angeles. That may be a good omen that movement is possible for U-verse on the CSN Houston front. http://blog.chron.com/sportsmedia/2...ner-sign-up-u-verse-as-csnrockets-await-deal/
I just spoke to a uverse rep and they referenced this. However, the groundswelling to get the Lakers was a bit stronger than ours to get the Rockets. they also took a shot at the consumer for bailing ship too early - (uverse note: not a good idea to tell the consumer on the phone that consumers are idiots and switch too early)
I spoke to a representative of DirecTv today. Nothing new, she read me the CSNs they provide and that once they get information on Houston I'd be getting a call. From another thread: Free trial NBA league pass from 10/30 to 11/6 on DirecTv.
I just got off the phone with direct tv and he said that they plan to have a decision in the next few weeks. He said sooner than later with the season starting on the 31st.
We can only hope. I spoke to them today again and they just keep giving the same bull crap. "We are in negotiations, blah blah blah and we stride to get our customers the programming they want blah blah blah."
I just spoke with DirecTv as well, and it doesn't look good. Basically said they don't know if they'll get the channel. Looks like no Rockets for me
I just replied to them and threatened to leave if they don't get the channel by the end of the week. I'll let you know what they tell me
That looks like literally the exact response they sent me. I'm guessing it's a template. I was just trying to get some freebies, I have no intention of actually cancelling my service and getting Concrap.
You guys go about it wrong. You don't just threaten to leave and get indignant. You tell the operator the (quasi) truth. "Look, I love DirecTV but I love the Rockets. I'm giving serious consideration to switching but I'm hoping as a loyal customer for X (where X=length of time you've been a customer) that you have something you can offer me to give me incentive to stay." Then, if you are currently paying for HD you can drop on them things like "maybe waiving my hd service?" Also if you like things like HBO or Showtime just say that. "I'm a fan of HBO and Showtime and would love to not have to pay for those every month." Be nice and courteous and you'll often get what you want, particularly with DirecTV. Their customer service is awesome.
