I think there is a chance a team picks JJJ off waivers, thus relieving the Rockets of the duty to pay him (and the cap hit). His contract is cheap and a team might take a chance on him.
Hayward will be cut, so it's down to Machado, Livingston or Cook as the final man out. My guess is that Livingston is out. Lin/ Douglas/ Machado Harden/ Delfino/ Cook Parsons/ Morris/ White Patterson/ Jones/ DMo Asik/ Aldrich/ Smith

Douglas can go... rather keep Livingston (expiring contract value for deadline trade) and Machado (cheap potential)... and I'd cut Royce... I havent appreciated how he's dealt with his 'issues' at all and we have enough depth at his position(s).... It'd be a wise move from a 'no player is bigger than the organization' standpoint...
One of the things I like about the trade is that it actually frees up some minutes to see what Morris can do at the 3. I figure that Delfino plays a little more at the 2 with Lamb gone, opening up some minutes behind parsons at he 3. I think it's cook or Douglas on the chopping block in addition to hayward. Still wish we had Forbes btw. I like 3s tht can shoot.

Mark Berman @MarkBermanFox26 Rockets have waived F Lazar Hayward and G Shaun Livingston according to sources.
Not surprising to be honest. They were high on Machado, and Livingston has the unfortunate position of being non-guaranteed.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>When having Harden with 2nd unit, Douglas fits better than before as a shooter, defender. Not as much an issue that he's not a playmaker.</p>— Jonathan Feigen (@Jonathan_Feigen) <a href="https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Feigen/status/263016113703641089" data-datetime="2012-10-29T20:35:02+00:00">October 29, 2012</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> Well, nvm, this actually makes sense. But still, I really enjoyed watching him play though.
Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen The Rockets trimmed roster to 15 by waiving Shaun Livingston, in addition to yesterday's decisions -- Hayward, Forbes, Brockman and Johnson.
No, Livingston..Damn! Livingston is better then Douglas and Machado..but financially I guess it was the right move.
